Yep, that's our 1951 L-120 that has come back to life after sitting for many years in our equipment shed. January 2012.

Pictured above was my fleet way back when. The Traveller and the one ton are gone now.

Like Father, Like Son! Dad's 73 Travelall and my 79 Traveller.

That's my dad below and his mother (my Oma) from The Netherlands who my dad took on a trailer trip to Banff. His dad (my Opa) took the picture. 1964 Travelall and about the same vintage 16' Aloha travel trailer.

This was my folks 1973 Travelall, bought brand new in Auburn Washington, the date stamp on the picture is August 1973. It was sold after ten years in 1984 to the Allmann family in Federal Way Washington. They used it for twelve more years, gave it to their son (who is a close friend of mine) and he gave it back to me in 2007. It is now licensed as a classic car and insured with Haggerties Insurance, so I can drive it occasionally. It still looks great and runs like a top.

I lost this wonderful truck to the rust of the midwest. Of all the vehicles I've loved, this one was the most special to me. This 79 Traveler was lifted 2" and I had many after market accessories. Detroit locking diffrential. Three fuel tanks! Third row seat. Lund Visor. Cab Running lights. Custom made aluminum running boards. GM stainless mirrors. 345 cu in IH V-8 (4bble Thermoquad) dual exhaust, 727 torqueflight 3 speed auto, Dana 20 tranfer case, Dana 44 axle with auto/manual hubs. Factory air, cruise, tilt and I made an overhead console that had more gauges than a four engine jet. I'm happy to have my old binders, but I miss this the most.

I bought this very rare 1310 (One ton Camper Special) 4x4 before we were married. We used this truck from 1986 to 2005. While it was in our care it was used and slightly abused, but boy could this truck take it. It came from the factory with Air Conditioning, PB, PS, the highest horsepower IH 392 ever offrered in a pickup and the Borge warner transmission. It received two paint jobs and I later converted the obsolete 6 on 7 1/4 inch bolt pattern to the more modern eight lug found on 1 ton pickups. This truck was sold sight unseen to a fellow in Florida.

This is my 1951 L120 (3/4 ton) pickup truck. It's pretty much stock with the exception of the bumpers. It's still running the original 220 cu in straight six and the heavy duty manual transmission. The original owner bought it to pull a horse trailer for his daughter in the 50's, and I bought it from the original owner in 1991. I gave up on the 6 volt generator after rebuilding it twice and now I have an 8 volt alternator built in the original generator housing and the truck runs with a 8 volt battery. This allows the 6 volt original equipment to stay while enjoying slightly better performance with lights and charging.

This picture taken before we were married, taking my "girlfriend" to the ocean beach.

Oh I miss that custom cockpit I made, more gauges than a semi!

Driving across the South Fork of the Payet River in Idaho, don't ask why.

My first 1951 L110 bought in Fargo North Dakota.

Don't know hwo owns this pretty set up but I think it's the most beautiful combination.

Just love those old Travelall's.
